Detailed weekend email will be emailed to runners the week of the race
As the race is a point to point, we will be shuttling runners from the finish line to the start via buses (5 minute ride). No parking, spectators, or runner drop off is allowed at the start line. The start line is our little private celebration before diving into the pain cave! Your bib will be your ticket on for a bus ride. We will have an option to bring a small drop-bag with you to the start, which will be transported back to the finish line.
Parking All parking will be at the Mt. Judah Lodge parking lots at Sugar Bowl and will be clearly marked. Click HERE to see the parking lot in Google Maps.
Bib Pickup is Friday, July 24th at Tahoe Mountain Sports in Truckee from 12PM to 5:30PM, or from 5:30AM - 6:30AM at the Mt. Judah Lodge (START LINE WHERE YOU WILL PARK) on race morning. You must have your bib to get on the shuttle bus. We encourage all runners who are able to pick up their bib on Friday to do so, to reduce race morning congestion.
Race Start Timeis 7AM sharp. Buses will begin running at 6AM. There will BE PORTA-POTTIES AT THE FINISH AREA (BEFORE YOU GET ON THE BUS) AS WELL AS AT THE STARTING LINE.
Aid Station We will have one single aid station at approximately mile 6 of the race with nutrition FROM NAAK, water, and basic aid station food including watermelon, pretzels, PB&J’s, and candy. We recommend carrying hydration and snacks with you since there is only one aid station on the course and the route has lots of sun exposure and plenty of climbing.
Race Photos will be included in your entry fee. We’ll have photographers throughout the course to get shots of you on various peaks and course points, available for download the week after the race.
Finisher Item Custom FRACTEL x MOUNTAIN TIGER COLLAB HAT. hats will be given at the finish line.
